About Us:
I
I’m Kim, and I’m glad you’re here!
I hold a Master’s degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Brainspotting (BSP).
I work with individuals 18 years and older, focusing on issues such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and personality disorders. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, meaning I prioritize creating a nonjudgmental, trust-based relationship where you feel heard and respected. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and you are always in control of your path.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants around Charlotte, being outdoors, and indulging my love of baking.

Hey guys I'm Jen! I'm a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern working locally with Welliver Counseling Services, here in Concord. I'm currently a student at Liberty University working towards my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I take a nonjudgemental person-centered approach, and I believe we each are the experts in our own life. I'm simply here to help you navigate it. I work with both young adults and adolescents, and am available for both in-person and virtual therapy.

When I'm not in class or getting to see clients, you can find me out walking my dogs, working out, or crafting.
